Blini Games' roguelike Lovecraft Untold Stories was released earlier this year on iOS where asked our App Army for their thoughts on it. Now the game has made its way over to Android, where you'll be able to buy it now.
If you're unsure if it's the game for you though don't worry. The developers have also decided to release a demo version of sorts. You'll be able to download Lovecraft Untold Stories Lite over on Google Play as well. It will include 2 levels and 1 playable character for you to test the game out with to see if you feel it's worth the asking price.
It's good to see this on offer and it certainly suggests that Blini have a lot of faith in their game. The full version of the game will have 5 playable characters in total, each with their own different playstyle and approach to combat.
You'll be tasked with battling your way through randomly generated levels that are based on various Lovecraftian tales. There you'll take on cultists and a myriad of creatures from the Mythos. In between slaying Cthulhu's buddies you'll have to save the occasional puzzle.
Playing into one of the themes of Lovecraft's works you'll also have to acquire enough knowledge about the Greater cosmic beings to be able to fight them otherwise you'll lose your sanity simply by bearing witness to them. Nyarlathotep, Dagon, Shub-Niggurath, and Azathoth and the poster child Cthulhu are all bosses you'll encounter as you make your through.
Lovecraft Untold Stories is available now on the App Store and Google Play. It is a premium title that costs for £9.99 and £8.99 on the App Store and Google Play respectively. You can also download a trial version of the game on Google Play.
